Buist, Byars & Taylor Names Principals

Charleston, S.C. - Buist, Byars & Taylor, LLC, a real estate law firm based in Charleston, S.C., has named Amanda L. Callander and G. Hamlin O'Kelley, III as principals of the firm. Callander, who joined the firm in 2004, focuses her practice on the commercial real estate division and is located at the firm's Mount Pleasant office. O'Kelley, who has also been with the firm since 2004, leads the firm's litigation practice area and is also located in Mount Pleasant.

Prior to joining Buist, Byars & Taylor, Callender served as an associate attorney at McNair Law Firm in Charleston. A native of Snyder, Texas, Callander holds a bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston and a law degree from the University of South Carolina.
O' Kelley previously served as an associate attorney at the Charleston law firm of Leath, Bouch & Crawford. A native of Beaufort, S.C., O'Kelley holds a bachelor's degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a law degree from the University of South Carolina.Both are members of the South Carolina Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Charleston County Bar Association.
