Amanda L. Callander — Principal
Amanda L. Callander, principal, joined the firm in April 2005. Amanda works in the firm's Mount Pleasant office where she focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions and estate planning. Before joining Buist, Byars and Taylor, she was an associate attorney at McNair Law Firm in Charleston. Born in Snyder, Texas, Amanda holds a bachelor's degree from the College of Charleston, where she graduated with honors, and a law degree from the University of South Carolina. She is a member of the American, South Carolina and Charleston County Bar Associations and is active in the St. Andrews Rotary Club. Amanda lives on James Island with her husband, Paul, and their children, daughter Rylie and son Brody.
