J. Treadwell "Tread" Josey — Principal

Tread Josey,principal, handles residential real estate transactions for the firm's Mount Pleasant office. A native of Spartanburg, SC, Tread graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in History in 1993 and from The George Washington University Law School in 2000. Prior to joining the firm, Tread worked for  Burr and Forman, LLP and McCalla, Raymer, Padrick, Cobb, Nichols and Clark, both law firms in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Tread was also the principal of Josey & Associates, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a member of the bar in both Georgia and South Carolina and belongs to the real property section of both.

Tread currently resides in West Ashley with his wife Britton and their son Jack. They are also expecting another child due to arrive in April.
