The Colonel William Rhett House, one of the oldest surviving homes in downtown Charleston, has been purchased for $3.25 million.
Buist Byars & Taylor represented the sellers.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the main house is over 300 years old. Located at 54 Hasell Street, the home has withstood numerous hurricanes and fires, as well as the Civil War. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and sits on nearly a half-acre of property between Meeting and East Bay Streets.
