Buist Byars & Taylor LLC is looking for a qualified senior associate attorney and an experienced CRE paralegal to join our busy, growing commercial real estate practice area.

The ideal associate candidate must be a licensed attorney in the state of South Carolina with a minimum of four years of transactional experience in commercial real estate, including representation of clients in the purchase, sale, leasing, financing, and development of commercial real estate.  Land use, zoning, and economic development experience as well as corporate experience, including transaction structuring, drafting, and negotiating contracts, joint venture agreements and operating agreements, entity formation, and mergers and acquisitions would also be extremely useful. A willingness to help grow the practice area through networking, workshops, seminars, etc. is preferred.

For consideration, a paralegal candidate should have at least two years of legal experience in real estate closings and strong computer and organizational skills, along with the ability to multi-task, pay close attention to detail, communicate clearly, and project a professional and personable demeanor
