Buist Byars & Taylor LLC is pleased to announce that Mary Fishburne has joined the team as an associate attorney. She will work primarily in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, as well as on litigation and business matters.

She is a graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South with a BA in English, and of Charleston School of Law, where she was a member of the Charleston Law Review and served as Articles Editor.  She also received the CALI Award in Legal Research, Analysis and Writing.

Before joining Buist Byars & Taylor, Fishburne’s practice focused primarily on civil cases, wills and business law. She gained additional experience as a project assistant/paralegal with a national firm in Washington, DC, after undergraduate school, and as a law clerk while attending law school.
