Ashley Canady Slane has been selected by Buist, Byars & Taylor, LLC as Marketing and Communications Manager. She is responsible for overseeing internal and external communications, website, social media, community relations, media relations, brand standards, networking, and special events for the firm.

Slane earned a B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina (USC) and has more than two decades of experience in communications, public relations and marketing. Prior to joining Buist, Byars & Taylor, she served as Director for USC’s information center in Charleston, Carolina on King, and previously held marketing positions with Southeastern Wildlife Exposition, Roper/St. Francis Healthcare, and NBBJ Architects (Raleigh, NC).
